ELB-SHUTTLE
The bike touring bus with bike trailer
The Winsener Elbmarsch supports you on your journey into the countryside
Route: Bergedorf - Marschacht - Winsen/Luhe - Stelle - Seevetal - Bergedorf
The cycle bus runs every year from May to October at weekends and on public holidays from the Hamburg S-Bahn station Bergedorf to the Winsener Elbmarsch and back.
With the free bike bus you can easily reach the numerous experience points, from Seeveniederung to the Stover Elbe beaches to the Ilmenau cycle path.
Along the Elbe, into the Elbe marsh as well as up to the town centres of Winsen and Stelle, there is an eight-shaped intersecting route.
The three circuits, each with nearly three hours travel time, can be entered and exited at will; sections can be experienced either by bike or on foot.
The ELB-SHUTTLE is not just a very interesting offer for cyclists; day trippers can also use the free cycle bus to visit the many events along the bus route.
To find out what events are taking place this year from May to October, look at the ELB-SHUTTLE Leaflet 2019.
